Being more of a thinker than a speaker, art is a great way for others to take a visual trip into my psyche. Art that can translate my feelings or thoughts into something physically tangible. The concepts in my work stem from reflecting my mood or an ode to my favorite musical artists at the moment. Things that inspire me most are music, visual artists and life. I am inspired by creatives in general, ranging from the aesthetically inclined from skateboarders to poets. Overall, I am inspired by people that are comfortable with being themselves and encourage others to do the same.
I am a college Senior pursuing a degree in Digital Design. I plan to attend graduate school for 2D animation in hopes of having my own successful animated series.
My medium of choice for years has been premier colored pencils by PrismaColor. I like using this medium because it allows me to apply multiple layers while providing vibrant colors. I can’t deny that colored pencils are pretty awesome. However ,when it comes to being time efficient, wet mediums like paints or inks are definitely the way to go. As of my sophomore year of college, I’ve begun to practice much more often with acrylic and oil paints. Overall, my biggest daily goal is to do whatever I can to continue grow as an artist.
