When I was in 3rd grade, I took the question “what do you want to be when you grow up?” a bit too seriously. When I seriously thought about the sort of jobs I knew of, I didn’t exactly see myself fitting in with any of them. It wasn’t until I found out that making Cartoons, Comics and Animation actually did qualify as Jobs that I felt I would fit in and be happy with my work. Cartoons practically lit up my world as a kid and even to this day I enjoy the medium of animation and seeing people’s artistic creations, but more than anything I enjoy the creative process. From that point on I tried making comics of my own and tried coming up with my own ideas. I looked into how Animation was made, attended a few animation programs and looked into how the overall production of an animated shows and movies were handled. I’ve come to learn that said production is not a one man show and aside from being overall creator have been looking into what aspect of that project I would overall fit into, as well as what would give me the chance to actually traditionally or digitally animate.

I’m confident in my knowledge of this and am looking for any way possible to gain some experience. I want to be able to tell stories that get people thinking as well as entertaining them. I’ve written in addition to drawing to help organize my ideas and I’m just as confident that I can create consistent narrative, worthy of various artistic input, in addition to my own.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I am very influenced by animation and find the medium to be a beautiful and interesting medium to work in. I’m always trying to search my mind to find the best ideas to place in that medium, to create a strong core that’ll output something that’ll amaze everyone who sees it.
